KlariCare LLC was founded in 2026 by a practicing pediatrician who spent years answering the same after-hours question — "how much do I give?" — and decided the answer should live in every parent's pocket, checked the way a clinician would check it.
Ahmad Qawasmi, MD is a board-certified pediatrician practicing in North Texas and the founder of KlariCare. In clinic and on call, he saw how often medication questions come down to the same handful of failure points: doses chosen by age instead of weight, kitchen spoons instead of oral syringes, two products that quietly share an ingredient, and households where nobody is sure who gave the last dose. LittleDoses is his attempt to solve those problems with software that is as careful as a good clinician and as simple as a good label.
Dr. Qawasmi leads the clinical content of every KlariCare product: which medicines are included, how doses are calculated, where the age gates and daily maximums sit, and what a parent should be told to do when something is off. He also happens to be a parent of young children, which is where most of the "would I actually use this at 2 a.m.?" testing happens.
Everything clinical in our products traces back to a source. Dosing ranges, minimum ages, spacing intervals, and daily ceilings are taken from current U.S. product labeling and pediatric guidelines, recorded with their citations, and reviewed by a pediatrician before they ship. Where the evidence says "call your doctor" instead of "give this much," the app says that too — LittleDoses does not calculate doses for prescription medicines, and it stops rather than guesses when a child is below a medicine's minimum age.
We are deliberately small and deliberately slow about the parts that matter. Safety rules are tested automatically on every change, and no clinical rule ships without a pediatrician's review.
